Can’t make it to the Med this summer? Then maybe this is your chance to spend time in America’s backyard. Newport, Rhode Island is one of the most historic and charming summer vacation destinations in North America. It is one of the major ports of call in New England and has even been named the yachting capital of the North East region.
As a yacht charter destination Newport has full service marinas just steps away from fine seafood dining, unique boutique shopping and live entertainment. As Memorial Day approaches, Newport’s swankiest yacht clubs and marinas are preparing for guest arrivals and have been rumored to cater to celebrities and US dignitaries from Nicholas Cage to members of the Kennedy Family. The team at eYachtCharter.com has taken the time to put together a list of Newport’s top five marinas and everything you need to know about booking transient or seasonal dockage for your luxury yacht charter this summer.
